From where you are standing …
There is a thin line between you and the world. That thin line is where you are standing. We lie to ourselves horribly so that line is tense enough to slice with a sharp knife. We teach children to be contributors to the world before they have found what constant they are. The idea and sense of a community is still as vague and bordered by that same thin line.
You cross that line – you have lost yourself in the midst of chaos- a world that has no definition – that is constructed by social beings – us – humans. From where you are standing the only constant is you. Yet the question is – what sort of constant are you ?
If you are the constant in any given scenario in the world – what type of constant are you? Which constant do you choose to be? It might not be one of these 3 – the point is before we construct the world we MUST construct our-self so we know the influence we will have in the equations we choose to engage. In these examples the point is not the complexity of the equations but rather the significance of the constants in these 3 mathematical equations.
The constant π (pi) – featuring in many areas (equations) influencing things in the same way each time – contributing something consistent without being wavered .
The golden ratio φ – the specialized constant (seen frequently in geometry )- featuring only were its an expert or comfortable. We do need specialized individuals/ experts in society.
Do the math – Which ever value of C is chosen differentiating this will always be cosx. The thought of this constant as human is scary…
So which constant are you?
The point is before we construct the world we MUST construct our-self so we know the influence we will have in the equations we choose to engage. If you are the constant in any given equation which constant are you?
